The scope of services includes the application of engineering principles in the evaluation of vehicular accidents. The accident analysis may include the determination of physical factors such as road conditions, lighting, warning signals and signs as well as impact speeds and vehicle directions, points of impact, and vehicle positions that define the collision. In addition, physical factors related to the occurrence of injuries may be determined through examination of occupant/vehicle contract and vehicle safety devices.

The accident analysis is performed by engineering professionals using
physical data and evidence and reported with expert opinions directed at the probable accident causation. Models and exhibits are also provided that clearly represent conditions under evaluation and support expert
opinions.
