   Affiliated Engineering Laboratories is an engineering consulting firm experienced in offering services covering all principal engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Controls, Safety and Materials.  With our facilities located in Edison, New Jersey, AEL has been providing technical services to both the legal and non-legal sectors for over 18 years.  Throughout these years, AEL has established two multidisciplinary Divisions:  The Engineering Division and The Materials Testing & Research Laboratory.

  
 






  

The Engineering Division has achieved technical excellence in all engineering disciplines.  With the emphasis on problem solving, AEL has amassed a group of highly qualified Professional Engineers who collectively are able to investigate a multitude of specialization areas.  These areas include:  Machine Design, Metallurgy and Materials, Fire Origin and Causation, Explosion Origin and Causation, Surface Friction and Slipping Analysis, Automotive Failure Analysis, Vehicular Accident Reconstruction, Electrical Systems and Structural and Construction Analysis.  

The Materials Testing & Research Laboratory at AEL combines laboratory tools and engineering experience to provide in-depth failure analysis and materials testing.  Our modern facility is operated by licensed and degreed engineers who have the experience to interpret the data in concert with your needs.  Some of our capabilities include Scanning Electron Microscopy & Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis, Metallography & Optical Microscopy, Mechanical & Hardness Testing and Corrosion Studies.

The collaboration of these two divisions has made Affiliated Engineering Laboratories a most diversified group.  Through engineering investigation and analysis,  AEL has the expertise to find solutions to your problems.
